In this video, we observe the largest backhoe in the world. This backhoe was brought to Colombia in 2005, under the coordination and study of Engineer Roberto Barros Correa (President of American Mining Support). It is the Komatsu PC8000 backhoe, which was brought to a productivity of 2000BCM/hour. It was manufactured for the Cerrejón mines with a special bucket of 42 cubic meters of capacity.
